Sniffies Alternatives for Map-Based Discovery
What to compare when looking for a Sniffies alternative: map privacy, moderated places, invite-only groups and age checks.
Map privacy first
On any map-based app, check whether members appear as exact pins. HUNTR never shows exact member locations; groups are offset from the host's real spot.
Moderated places
Unmoderated maps fill up with spam and unsafe pins. HUNTR's map only shows places approved by its team, and expired events drop off automatically.
Groups with consent built in
Invite-only groups mean the host chooses who comes. On HUNTR, you request an invite and the host decides.
